The big trip to town is not an issue today. I still have headlight problems that need solving. Generator problems and more .There is a major ice fog outside. Travel is not safe today.<\/p>\n

Cold is coming Saturday night. The big snowfall has been moved from Monday to Wednesday Thursday.i will need to get more catfood before then. So today is chainsaw and chop repair generators or get the big one running. The one that uses 5 gallons a day instead of one. If i can get the small gen running it would save a lot of fuel.

\nThe generator went back together. A few pulls later, it ran it ran flawlessly for three minutes then died. It did not start again.<\/p>\n

Next step was haul the snow blower out side. Then the big generator. 100 feet down a icy walkway generator in tow I made it to the back door. In through the boys room, through the girl cats room up the stairs around lots of obstacles, fresh cat poop on the wheels picked up along the way. We were now at the back door.<\/p>\n

I was too tire to continue, servicing and starting the big gen would have to wait. It had been 6 years since that machine ran.<\/p>\n

After pulling off warmer clothes I shuffled back to my milkcrate in the fireroom to put down these words. <\/p>\n

I needed a drink of water but it was a million miles away.

I decided to make the trip to town. Got a few groceries and catfood. We will be ok for a few more days. <\/p>\n
