So what do you do when your body is hurting, your eyesight is giving white jaggies, you need firewood and snow for melt. You go out and do what needs doing as always.<\/p>\n

Cats have water melting on the woodstove I have firewood although, not all I have is really useable, soaking wet and heavy, from some of the logs I hammered out of the ground. I didn’t order wood this winter because I wanted to clean up the bottom of the pile. I will continue to do that during summer, hopefully, I can find more before next winter.<\/p>\n

I estimate I have enough wood left for a month of cold that would get me through October.<\/p>\n

Cali my dear departed cat is still waiting for cremation or burial. She is quietly waiting in the back of Gracie. I will miss that cat, even though I have a houseful of others to take care of.<\/p>\n
