Climate change is happening, humans are causing it, and I think this is perhaps the most serious environmental issue facing us.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today is the first historic, prolonged, dangerous heat event. One of the many I think in the future.<\/p>\n

Fifteen years ago a rancher asked me if I really believed that there is such a thing as climate change and that we are causing it. He laughed pretty hard about that. I remember back how I shook my head in disbelief as he left my store to go back to his methane burping cows. I wonder if he has an EV or is eating Beyond Meat burgers now. I knew then that the situation was worse than they said, and that the Governments of the world were hiding it because such news would hurt the oil-based economy.<\/p>\n

Now every car company has an EV. It took Covid to shake up the world to wake them up. Will they listen? I doubt it until it gets bad enough. For the governments of the world, don’t piss on my shoes and tell me it’s raining.<\/p>\n
