Birds are a miracle because they prove to us there is a finer, simpler state of being which we may strive to attain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Long gone are the days of long telephoto lens and high speed photography.<\/p>\n

Today a flock of giant birds almost Ostrich size, with a little exageration, were feeding on lost grain in the field across from my house.<\/p>\n

I tried to get closer, walking slowly towards them so I could capture them on my cell camera.<\/p>\n

No luck in Texas they hunt them for fun, so I understand why they take off at the first sign of trouble.<\/p>\n

I thought I might capture them in flight but they flew behind the trees.<\/p>\n

Do I feel bad that I interupted them? Since I know the poisons my neighbor puts on the ground there in the name of agriculture. Why not everyone up here does it.<\/p>\n

Not in the slightest.<\/p>\n
