Without a family, man, alone in the world, trembles with the cold.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not even 9 AM yet. Cat fed watered, kindling made , fire started, snow gathered, 4 20 foot boards cut in half, while the door was wide open. No choice 12 foot room 20 foot boards.<\/p>\n

This morning felt colder way colder, sucked the air from my lungs. I gathered a big bowl of snow like I mentioned, then went back and hauled a lot of boards. Yes I did fall once.<\/p>\n

I got them most of the way inside and had to cut and wrestle them until I could close the door again.<\/p>\n

Soon I will need to saw some into firewood but not now. My kettle was hot and I needed the coffee.<\/p>\n

Yup I had to cut some wood. I cut at least 30 feet. Then made kindling. The fire was out again.<\/p>\n

Did I mention boards burn really fast.<\/p>\n

Almost 4PM.<\/p>\n

I came down to check on the fire. It was almost out. The firewood was almost out, so I did what needed doing. I hand cut another ten foot board.<\/p>\n

5:30 PM. Cat feeding time. Fire needed more wood. I cut another 30 feet of board. My saw is getting dull. Remind me to order another.<\/p>\n
