Snow arrived with it. I would have to travel through it. The cold and snow would only get worse over the next few days. Tuesday it will be -34, (forecast now upgraded to -37) another Polar Vortex is on it’s way.

I have freight sitting at the post office. I needed some groceries too. Out of water, add that to the list.

My back hurts so bad, I can hardly move, I don’t remember this much pain. I have broken my back and neck twice in car accidents. Now that is made worse by osteoarthitus.

I made the drive to the village and town in a snowstorm. The roads were slippery. I had to travel today because of the cold. I am an old man that drives an old van. I call her Gracie. Both of us don’t travel well in extreme cold.

Today I have been moving full gas cans 6, water bottles 40 pounds heavy 3, steel shelves, 2 one gallon water bottles, two large boxes of groceries. Two bags of catfood inside, plus the four I just picked up.

Shit I have a box full of oatmilk in the van. I gotta get those in the next twenty minutes.

I am laying down right now try to recuperate enough to bring the heavy water bottles in.

It feels like there is a flathead screwdriver jammed in between vertabrae being twisted by some unseen denon.

The groceries are still unpacked on the kitchen floor. There are still three big water bottles in the van. Those need to be brought inside today, plus the oatmilk.

Oatmilk is up, that was painfull slow. It took me 45 minutes total including feed the cats.

Groceries still not unpacked and whats worse is my coffee and tablet are just out of reach. I will have to get up again. Lazy, nope. Just in a lot of pain.

I plan to get groceries unpacked soon. Maybe after an old man’s nap.

Some groceries were unpacked, more to get done in tbe morning I have been laying down for 7 hours trying to recuperate.

The large water bottles are still in the van and will probably frozen by morning I will have to thaw those out tommorrow.

Then I need to figure out how to heat the house. I have a small propane heater but learned that the fumes from that and even natural gas stoves are toxic.

I have a Chinese diesel heater but not finished the install. Still waiting for some parts for a custom install from China.

i do have a small amount odlf firewood but the chimney is still not repaired yet. That requires me ti go on a snow covered sheet metal roof.

Usually there is deep snow to land in if I fall off. Due to climate change there is almost no snow on the frozen ground.

And soon, too soon, we part with pain, To sail o’er silent seas again.
