That&#8217;s the key to the arctic &#8211; they didn&#8217;t fear the cold, they made use of it.<\/p>\n<p>Wade Davis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the fire room minus 2, outside minus 30. <\/p>\n<p>Best surprise ever 2 gallons of melted water in the big steel bowl. Not knocked over. I let out a big yahoo  and ran for the water funnel and 20l water bottle. Everybody got fresh snow water. I will get a hot breakfast and coffee in a while.<\/p>\n<p>Postal strike is over by government mandate. Amazon is processing payments from orders from last month. I do not have a way to pick them up when they arrive.<\/p>\n<p>Like I said yesterday, since the union was forced back to work, I cam&#8217;t see the workers working at full speed. I don&#8217;t expect to see those parcels soon.<\/p>\n<p>Npw for the tough part. The snow bowl was empty. The snow was outside in -30 air. It was sunny, two my solar panels were covered in snow. I had to go out.<\/p>\n<p>I am back in no I didn&#8217;t take a picture. My hands hurt in seconds, lung on the first breath. I wasn&#8217;t out more than 5 minutes. It felt like forever.<\/p>\n<p>Cooking water for coffee, leaned way back in my chair, feet up. That is because the room below my floor is cold. I can feel it right through my cha booties. My name for my insulated slippers.<\/p>\n<p>First pour is done. Coffee was in my near future. I was going to make dehydrated hash browns from 14 years ago but remembered I had the package of instant mash potato pwder withe best before dat of sep 2010 last night.<\/p>\n<p>So oats it was I discoveed that rolled oats work out ok if you put boiling water on top. Add a little crystalized honey, chia seeds and cacao nibs and you have breakfast.<\/p>\n<p>A meal fit for a king. Maybe not but it wasn&#8217;t bad.<\/p>\n<p>My coffee is almost done, I gotta go. Have a safe day.
