I think the song itself, ‘Smoke and Fire,’ is just a metaphor for the feelings that you feel in a relationship.<\/p>\n

Yup today it was Ash Day. The bottom of my woodstove had 14 inches of ash. That all had to be shoveled out.<\/p>\n

It was a nasty terrible, lung clogging job, even with a covid mask on. There was at least 80 pounds of ash. I sympathised with the people in Pompei.<\/p>\n

I filled the bottom with used wood pellets. After that I filled the bottom with dry garbage collected this morning. I added a couple of old oat milk jugs and whatever I could find.<\/p>\n

Next came wood, carefully stacked and layered on the garbage. Add flame and fire started to happen.<\/p>\n

Next was the gathering of snow. That included the giant bowl and two large bowls. I stopped to snap a pic. Then carried the 100 pounds of snow inside to be put on the now hot stove.<\/p>\n

Yuo if I am writing it is because I am severly out of breath and resting. The problem was that my only seat in the fire room was too close to the hot fire.<\/p>\n

I would have to move to the next job. As soon as I decide what that was. Yup, shovel wet urine soaked pellets to slown down the fire. While the door was open the room filled with lung clogging smoke.<\/p>\n

After that I decided to make coffee. I was smart enough to fill the kettle before the cats got water, then I left to do chores. <\/p>\n

Now I am reclined in my chair trying to recover from the work done this morning.<\/p>\n

Water was on the boil. I was trying plan ahead for lunch and supper. Looks like 5 year old gluten abundant pasta. I had to cook it in two batches. One was flavored, one was not.<\/p>\n

Down by the fire, the large bowls were melted and distributed to cats. The giant bowl was just getting started.<\/p>\n

I gave the cats the leftover pasta water after I cooled it with fresh snow. They loved it and nothing is wasted. While I was in the fire room I decided to cut one board. The nasty ones were left, the full of nails double 2×4’s, 3 of them.<\/p>\n

Ya of course I cut all three. Needed doing. I am heading up to eat breakfast and have coffee.<\/p>\n

Pasta was sealed in tupperware for later. It was 12:30. Time for lunch. My solar was producing more than Xbox would use, so I decided to play. What I had a hardtime with is what to play. <\/p>\n
