First day. I decided to wait to light a fire. All rooms here still reporting plus temperature.<\/p>\n

Tonight it will be -32c. Tommorrow day time temps not much better. I still plan to gather snow today. Tomorrow will be too cold to venture out safely.<\/p>\n

I had brewed coffee today. It was wonderful. Sounds like a small thing, after drinking instant for a week it is a big thing.

I have food but no fuel. I had maybe a liter of gasoline left. It is too cloudy to generate much power through the soar panels. With the short days it didn’t matter much. My solar batteries were below 60 percent. <\/p>\n

I could run the gen for a short while while it was still warm enough. I could salvage some old gas from long dead generators but it would be carb clogging old gas.
\nThat might make things worse.<\/p>\n

My purpose today? Survive another 24 Hours.<\/p>\n
