The wind. I was doing my morning things I do everyday. I went out to gather snow, it was brutally cold. It felt like -40 but in real only -26. The wind.<\/p>\n<p>Snow got gathered, cats fed. A bag of pellets was brought up. The cats water and the bottle I left down stairs from yesterdays melting, was crusty from ice, but still mostly liquid. It was poured into cat bowls.<\/p>\n<p>Coffee was in the making. I had not had one for a couple days, maybe more. It was time.<\/p>\n<p>The fire now made was lit. Snow in bowls on top.<\/p>\n<p>Same old, surviving another day. Why do I do this day in and day out.
