“I’m writing an unauthorized autobiography.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

I apologize for not writing much lately. New aches and pains everyday, and I am still reeling a little about the Doctor at Peace River hospital that was convinced I was drunk instead of looking for a medical reason for my speech problems that day. If you read other posts you would know I quit drinking and drugging over 38 years ago.<\/p>\n

That doctor refused to give me any treatment besides a sobriety test, which was insulting. Even more insulting was the smirk he had on his face. I am sure that this is a normal thing for him. I would love to wipe that smirk off now, but I am pretty sure there is a law against that.<\/p>\n

It is most likely I was having a TIA, a small stroke. I had a hard time communicating. I could hear the words in my head but couldn’t get them out I was even having a hard time operating my phone. Somehow I managed to get some shopping done and drive home. I have had a TIA before and managed to drive myself to the hospital in city traffic to take care of three small children and even made the six-hour drive home in heavy fog at night. It was a hell of a trip.<\/p>\n

I have since then seen another doctor at a different hospital and some tests were done and others ordered, We will see if I was right about my self-diagnosis.<\/p>\n

On another topic, it is November and it is time for permasnow. My word, it means the snow that stays for the winter.<\/p>\n
