I was taught that the way of progress was neither swift nor easy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0No it wasn’t.
\nIt started with finding my drill, so I could move a 16 foot 2×10 around to the back of the house. I managed that part but lost the bit and socket to drive the lag bolts in. I searched and I prayed as I fed hundreds of mosquitos. I was smart I wore long pants but a short sleeve shirt. Ok ok, I was half smart. On the way back to look for the bit and socket, I put on a jacket meant for early winter.<\/p>\n

Fewer bites but way more sweat. The pants were already too hot. I didn’t find my bit, I found another. Now I just needed to figure out how I was going to lift an 80-pound board and get the first lag screw in, by myself.<\/p>\n

It got done, eventually, I found a level, levelled it the best I could and proceeded to sink more lag screws to hold up the main board attached to the wall. An hour and many more bites later the first board was up.<\/p>\n

Soaked in sweat, faint from the loss of blood to squitos, kidding. I put my tools inside locked the doors, made my way back to my bed and typed these words.<\/p>\n
