The trailer as of 9:21 tonight. Almost brought a tear.<\/p><\/div>\n

My welder has dedicated\u00a0his Saturday to fabbing and welding my extensions gussets so I can walk through my tiny house with hitting my shoulders on both sides . Thank you Rob. I am getting excited again.<\/p>\n

I have been waiting for a year. Not due to my welder, but weather, money, and all that life could throw at me. Long sad story. None of that matters in a few days My trailer will be home I will be painting the new metal and laying down the outside flooring.<\/p>\n

The center of the trailer will be covered in temporary plywood until I run plumbing and and electrical conduits, and do the fun job screwing plywood up to the bottom to cover the frame.<\/p>\n

In order to make the tiny house easier to work on I will be nosing it in. How?, by adding a receiver to the rear of the tiny house. My welder will build a bar with a coupler attached so the trailer can be pulled out from behind. Later a trailer with generators, water tanks, propane, and solar panels with be hooked up to the rear. When I need to replenish propane or water during dry seasons I can hook up my jeep and take the utility or should I say utilities trailer to top up whats needed. This made more sense than have a large propane tank attached directly to the tiny house.<\/p>\n

I saw an article about converting my generators to propane, not a big deal. What was exciting, was the quick disconnects for the propane that got me to change the design. Then I thought I can add everything to an existing utility trailer. I could replenish all the needed supplies and if I needed to run the generators they would not be vibrating the Tiny house. I have an l-shaped gas tank I acquired from a friend with a hand pump, that could be mounted on the trailer. There a re more advantages are I do not need to re-orientate my tiny house to get better solar panel efficiency. I can turn the trailer into the sun. At my latitude the sun can come in from any direction depending on the time of year.<\/p>\n

Disadvantages if the trailer is stolen I loose all of my potential power and propane. With the quick disconnects on the power and propane I can hookup temporary services quickly. Depending on money I may leave one panel and some batteries on the tiny house just to cover such an emergency.<\/p>\n

In Alberta one more advantage. I can actually haul a trailer behind the tiny house on the highway here if I need to.<\/p>\n
