So what the heck is Kiva you ask.  It is an organization that helps people in other countries to find small loans for business, home improvements, education, agriculture and more. There is a video below that describes how it works.<\/p>\n

I started loaning small amounts a few years ago, I didn’t have the money then, still don’t ,but the people that needed the money had even less. In some the countries I lent money to the annual income is less than three thousand a year. I know people here that spend that every month here on entertainment . I certainly do not.<\/p>\n

If I can find the money to loan so can you. When the repayment comes back I re lend it out to other loans. I don’t do it to make myself feel better (although it does). I do it because I think we need to pull together as a planet and help each other, too much dog eat dog mentality exists out there.<\/p>\n

Today I lent money to a woman in a country I never heard of Timor Leste. So I did a little research about her country and what I found was disturbing about the slaughter of the people by the Indonesian government and later gangs.<\/p>\n

If any like that happened here the whole world would be outraged.<\/p>\n

We all did nothing. I didn’t even know. The UN finally sent in a peacekeeping force and now the little country is trying to rebuild.<\/p>\n

The woman stills needs more to complete her loan. So give up a night at the movies and cough up $25.00.  Her story is here<\/span><\/a>. When i posted this she needed another $250. By now there are many others that need your help.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Who knows, maybe you will find other loans like I did and keep recirculating small amounts of cash that can help other people to help themselves.<\/p>\n

[notice][\/notice]Update she has been granted the loan. That’s good news. There are hundreds more like her that need some cash find one and help out. Maybe one day it might be you that needs the help.<\/p>\n
