It is -23 C outside. Too cold for building.<\/p>\n

Its been a while since I put up a post.  \"imagejpeg_2b\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I wasn’t able to afford welding that was needed on the trailer. The estimates that came in were more than the value of the trailer. I haven’t done any work on the tiny house in months.<\/p>\n

Last week I got interested in my house again and decided to plow forward and keep to my original plan. The build is back on.<\/p>\n

A few days ago I ran into someone who had need of my skills and I had a need of his. He is a welder. I showed him my dilemma and he hooked up his truck and took the trailer away.<\/p>\n

The very next day I got a call. My trailer has been welded. The rusty holes now have been eradicated and covered with 3\/16″ steel. The front trailer jack is in the correct location. And soon the trailer will be back here (in a few minutes).  Soon the propane mounts will be welded on the front of the trailer.<\/p>\n

I wish I would have built the shelter I had planned around the trailer location this summer. It will be hard to not work on the Tiny House. Winter has just started here. It will be six months before I get to do much.<\/p>\n

I have all winter to perfect my design  and do the layout for plumbing wiring and everything else.<\/p>\n

\"imagejpeg_2bbb\"<\/a>I thank God for putting the welder in my path.<\/p>\n

\"imagejpeg_2\"<\/a>Now in a few minutes the trailer will be back here and done.<\/p>\n

I am excited about the prospect of building and moving into my tiny house.<\/p>\n

As I load 500 lbs of firewood a day into my wood stove, I get a reminder as to why I am doing the build in the first place. I mean to live cleaner and simpler and off the grid. While I do that eradicate the debt I was left with after the divorce.<\/p>\n
