“Occasionally I have come across a last patch of snow on top of a mountain in late May or June. There’s something very powerful about finding snow in summer.”

Andy Goldsworthy

I am hoping this is the last snow of this winter. Like I said yesterday, I killed my first mosquito. I am aware of the weather clues next one being leaves coming back, I also heard the sand hill cranes in the sky yesterday. That signifies spring here. That and the weather forecast says 20 plus temps on Monday hahaha

Onto other good news. I have switched to filtering my rainwater, production is up to a gallon of pure water a day. Just enough to keep me in coffee and the cats drinking fresh. The inside of the rain water tank is not pretty. I will be taking that into wash in the local spray and wash this summer.

At least I am producing fresh.

Well its official I was just outside and a flock of sand hill cranes just flew over. Thousands of them. It will be hard to see in the pics unless you have the ability to zoom in. They made one hell of a noise. These are birds with a four-foot wingspan.
And yes this year I kept my mouth closed hahaha.

I just took a walk outside there are leaves on the trees. It is spring here.

Hopefully last one this winter
