“I believe that tomorrow is another day, and… I believe in miracles.”
Audrey Hepburn
Today was supposed to be my barium swallow test. It was -49 last night. There was no chance Gracie would have fired up. Plus I would have to travel in the dark for two hours to get there.
And there were the four logs left to split in front of the van. It took a half-hour just to get the log splitter to run. I overloaded my gen four times. Each time a trip to the back of the house to pull the gen out, stop it restart it push it back into its snow cover.
The wood got split snow was gathered for water, coffee was poured. I can’t get up to get it. I am collapsed on the couch in pain typing this. Tomorrow will be chainsawing again right now -40 the next day more of the same. I just needed to hold on for a few more days until the polar vortex moves on to Eastern Canada.
