Into each life some rain must fall.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

The day started out ok, then the rain came. Another days wait for the outside work. I managed to do the heavy cat boxes and some other menial jobs.

I had some escapees, I swear I only left the door unlatched for less than a minute. I managed to retrieve a few of the Houdini’s. The rest are still out there. As I reached for one out the window I felt a rib pop out of place. Some days you win the other days you are me. it figures the rain has slowed and now moving lumber around to build that much needed back deck, won’t happen.

The popped rib feels just like a broken one, except it is not trying to go through a lung.  It sure doesn’t feel good when you lie down on it.

The old deck has dropped about 12 inches on one side. Really scary to walk on. I will have to wait through the delays. I also have to hope no predators are out there most of the escaped cats have no experience with them.

I have retrieved more of the cats. I managed to get one of the twins, and yes it is one of the Siamese. Sci two. Sci one is not cooperating maybe when they get a little hungrier.

Update: I have both of the Siamese twins and a couple of others, still missing a tuxedo and a stubborn orange cat. The rib is much worse, getting painful. The rain continues to come down.
