I mean the back pain, it is worse than ever, walking down the ten stairs, to the kitchen caused a yelling spree. Scared the cats almost to death. Yet I was determined to accomplish something. I went outside with box cutter in hand to retrieve some old net I had once used to grow flowers up a railing. That was a very slow and careful trip.
I needed the net to keep cats out of a part of my bedroom that I had separeated for growing a few herbs. I have a snmall solar powered watering system arriving in a few days.
This was for more experiments in indoor growing, microgreens, kale and basil. Cats love to destroy that suff. Growing it out side has become a challenge with summer insects. They seem to be getting worse with climate change. Two years ago I lost an entire crop of kale in one day. We have problems with catapillars one year, so many that all foliage was destroyed. Another year was a march of the golden beetles billions of them.
The weather has also been a problem. So indoor gardening experiments need doing.
