A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.

Another rough night.
Cats are fed and the last feral kitten has been captured and is inside and not very happy about that.
Water is on for coffee it will be awhile. The fire was completely out not even warm coals.
It’s burning now. I added a quarter cup of used oil to a small bag of sawdust from the planer.
I can hear crackling. Thank God it is warm out. The cold and snow will be returning with a vengeance in a few days and will stay until the end of winter they say. The doom and gloomers that forecast our weather say we are to have a brutally cold winter with extra heavy snow. I am not sure how I will make it through, but I have faith I will. I don’t expect it to be easy, nothing in the last ten has been.

Big cat (his name) 25-pound wild cat that has adopted us. He is slowly getting friendly he let me touch his nose the other day. He is the father of a lot of long-haired cats I own. I didn’t really need more.
I had big dreams of getting lots done today. I didn’t get as much done as I wanted. I did get the girl cats space cleaned and vacuumed. The boy cat’s room swept and cleaned. I even got my room cleaned a little.
Things I didn’t get done the carb replaced on my generator. My solar batteries are low. If I don’t charge them soon I will lose capacity.
The gen is a priority tomorrow. The new gen will arrive next week after or during the snowstorms. I have to hope I can get the old gen running again.
