Sometimes things aren’t clear right away. That’s where you need to be patient and persevere and see where things lead.

My job today, easy-peasy. Just change the carb on my generator with a new one. A half-hour at most. If everything worked out. I knew it wouldn’t.
Getting the carb of the old generator was a nightmare. There was a wiring harness that ran into the interior of the gen. After carefully cutting through two wire looms I found the square plug at the end of the wire. It took another 15 minutes of wire jiggling to get it free.
After disconnecting various tubes and the gas line, air filter and everything else the cab was free.
I grabbed the cheap Chinese knock off carb looked at the wiring the plug it was different. It wasn’t going to fit.
I thought if I could swap the electric motor from the old carb to the new one it would work out. That’s when I discovered two stripped screws. I had been sold a used generator at a new price 20 years ago.
After another hour of messing with the stripped screws, after trying many different screwdrivers and bits, I got the old motor removed. My back has given out I am in too much pain to continue.
That’s why you are seeing these words. I am sitting in the fire room with the boys sitting on my plastic milk crate resting.
The back pain isn’t going away I will have to go lay down. The boy cats must be able to sense I am in pain. They all want to sit in my lap and give me comfort.
That’s all I can type for now. I have to go lay down. If you were wondered it was just standing that caused the back pain, my spine can’t handle it.
