The blues tells a story. Every line of the blues has a meaning.

Friday Canada post says the gen will arrive then. Saturday it says Monday. Monday it says Tuesday. Tuesday it says Wednesday.

Yes I called Amazon and the post office. Amazon was more helpful. I talked to Paul who was working from home in Jamaica. I loved that I could hear a rooster crowing in the background. The anwser there, my generator was delayed due to external factors.

The post office helpline was a huge waste of time. Just an automated service that didn’t work. Obviously designed to frustrate you so you will hangup which I did.

I called the local post office no joy there either but I got a friendly voice.

I would have to try to get one of  the dead generators to run.

The problems stayed the same. Both generators would not start. i followed one suggestion I found on utube. i took the spark plug out of the honda. it was dirty I cleaned that and put it back no fire. I focused my attention the big generator. With ether sprayed down the carb I got an engine that ran for a few seconds. i tried that twenty times before giving up.

For fun I took the float bowl off the old carb from the Honda. It was clean no gunk no varnish.. That wasn’t the problem. It could be the in tank fuel filter, the fuel pump or the on off switch which worked as a switch and petcock.

Either way those problems wouldn’t be solved today.

I also needed to go out and chainsaw wood , chop wood and clean the latest snow off the driveway. Would I get that done today? Probably not. I had another fallover moment. It is not fainting, not dizziness,  not a seizure, I just fallover, no notice no warning only happens when I am standing.

Suddenly I just fallover, against the wall today thank God and not down the stairs.
