He is richest who is content with the least, for content is the wealth of nature.

Another foggy morning. Still no sign of the generator. I got dressed and went outside right away. My body was hurting bad and I had the feeling it would get worse with the day. I went out to the wood pile to take a few pics. On the way back I grabbed the temporary chopping block.  I chose that log awhile ago for its appearance. Lots of branch nubs. That would make the log resistant to splitting and that is exactly what it did. Over and over again. After splitting the two logs and getting them loaded. I went out to gather snow for melting. I was gathering 60 pounds of snow. I thought about how much water that was. The answer of of course was 60 pounds. Except for me it felt like 90.

Wood and snow inside, kettle on the boil. I typed words and drank last nights cold coffee. Like I have said many times I hate to waste. Besides at a drive thru I would have to pay extra for cold coffee.

Its late in the afternpoon the sun is everywhere except on my solar panels. Remind me to move those next year. I just finished my second least favorite thing to do, litterboxes and sweeping the floors as I have mentioned sweeping hurts my back more than any other activity, more than chainsawing, more than chopping. That is done now.
