The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.

Big wind warning up to 120 kph. I was going to go to town, but I don’t think so. I drive a box, Old Gracie my van is a sail in the wind.
After watching the video of a semi-truck getting knocked over a few days in Southern Alberta, I can wait a day or so.

I thought I would type this now just in case the wind kills the internet.

I went out and chopped wood. The wind was just starting to pick up.

Cool things. I saw an easy way on YouTube to open old laptop batteries to retrieve 18650 cells. Put them in a vice add vice grips and twist. I have 14 new cells to test. Testing is a slow process I can test 4 to 8 cells a day. They need to be given a full charge then capacity tested can take up to 8 hours per cell. I can test 4 at a time. The best part I am using my solar batteries to test them.  I do have to use the generator more often this time of year but in summer it doesn’t cost me anything. Not including my investment in solar panels and batteries.

A blizzard rolled in with the wind, not forecasted. Four inches of sideways snow fell.
