I was very much on the mathematical side, where you probably do your best work before you’re forty-five. Having passed that significant date, I thought I would do something else.

First thing after waking and feeding the cats, I went out to chop wood. I wasn’t sure how much energy and I wasn’t sure how much worse the pain was going to be. While I was at the woodpile swinging and thanking God for wood that was relatively easy to split. I thought about my best before date. I think I passed that ten years ago.
I thought about when I should have quit chopping wood and building things. I did say should have, that would have also been ten years ago. Since then I have been through horrendous injuries, abuses by nurses and doctors and even the dentist that I once praised put a drill through my tongue. Why did they do it? Rumours most likely spread by someone so full of hate and bile. I can’t imagine them doing well in life. I have a few suspects in mind.
It doesn’t matter what they do I have survived through all of it. It has not been easy.

If you include Trump he did two burnouts, glad to see him gone.
