Millions long for immortality who don’t know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Pouring rain outside. It’s actually a good thing. It will wash away some of the smoke in the air.
Today is Sunday. A day of rest. For me, it is usually the day I do a little cleaning and spend some time playing a game on my Xbox. Unless I run my gen, that’s not going to happen. Mostly because I never got to pick up the materials for the roof of the back deck. They are in the big city and since our Gov was so stupid to lift all restrictions in the middle of the fourth wave going there is not smart.
I may have to purchase sheetmetal instead of the clear panels I wanted to put up. That will make my woodwork shop dark. Worse than that, I will end up purchasing materials for the same job twice. Thinking about it now, it is the best solution.
Winter prediction came out yesterday, La Niña says, we are going to be experiencing a colder than normal winter. I don’t have enough wood as it is to heat my house. Heating the wood work shop in the dark winter won’t be an issue. Running my gen without heavy snow on it will be.
I do need to finish the rear deck. So sheetmetal it is.
So how am I to stay warm this winter? I will let you know.
Sigh, still waiting for the mini skirt to come back into fashion. You can keep the bellbottoms and the platform shoes, especially for men.
