What if God told you to just rest. Would you? I don’t mean voices in my head or burning bush messages, just strong hints.
Call it intuition, your subconscious or whatever you want. Sometimes it’s just obstacles in your way.
My whole life has been based on the notion, that if you run into an obstacle in your path, turn left and keep going.
So if you turn left four times where are you?
Sometimes the message is clear. All we have to do is listen.
Almost 4 PM resting was the right thing. All today’s problems resolved themselves without my intervention.
I remembered something from my 12th step past.
“The good life comes easy the rest we plan”
BTW my snowplow did come back and finished my driveway. He also exposed a huge log that would keep me warm for another week of warm weather. A 1000 pounder.
Ten feet long, 14 inches in diameter. If I need to guess, it’s wet and heavy.
