Constant repetition carries conviction.

Just about March. Then comes April, after that May. Basic calendar.

I just have to survive the next three months. March seems to be the snowiest. April starts to warm, by Easter snow is melting. End of May, plant gardens. Usually.

Cats fed, and the morning fire is crackling, water in the kettle on top waiting to boil.

Already have a can of gas poured for the gen. Cats have water.

All that is left is to put coffee in the filter. When the water is hot enough, pour.

If I wanted to be more efficient, I could be filling up the gen while I wait for my water to boil, or even getting the filter filled with coffee.

It is warm right here in front of the fire and I get to socialize with the boys.

Time is up, the kettle is boiling.

The cone and filter are ready to go. I go back to the fire room a minute after I left, and my chair by the fire is occupied.

Coffee poured and onto the next job. Knees are painful today, and something painful on my lower abdomen.

Gen needs filling and starting. And that job is done. Time from starting to drinking coffee, 2 hours.

Tomorrow I will do it again.
