As anyone who has ever been around a cat for any length of time well knows, cats have enormous patience with the limitations of the human kind.

Cleveland Amory

After feeding the cats at 8 AM. I fell asleep again till noon. The original plan was to pick up freight in the village.

I didn’t get notification of one of the tracking numbers till 12:30 PM. It was received before 9 AM.

There is still one missing. I decided to wait for it before I go in. The only problem, is 3 small snowstorms before then.

The total could be a big amount of snow by then. Driving may be impossible.

I had to leave that to God or Gods, depending on your beliefs.

I had other glamorous things to do. The top of the list, cleaning up cat poop, burning cat poop, bringing in more wood, cutting more wood. Empty litter boxes into the fire, refilling litter boxes.

Cleaning up, always cleaning up. My house would make hoarders blush. For a disabled man, I am happy getting to it when I have the energy and the means.

When the pain is less, I do the work. Cats are different, they are a responsibility. They get fed, watered and litter checked every day.

Wood brought in snow gathered and melting on the woodstove. The wood got cut. Poop was gathered and put in the fire.

One litter box got done, one more to go. Need to make the trip to the van again and haul another heavy bag. I was already out there to grab a huge bag of cat food.

I forgot my birds, the outside feeder is empty, needs filling. One more job.
