Tough times never last, but tough people do.

What a morning. My kitchen was trashed. Jar broken, everything on the floor, pots, tools, food. My tshirts and socks that were drying on the ladder now on the floor in a pile and pissed on.
My giant steel bowl for melting snow, pissed in. I went out to the garage to maybe get gas for the gen. The big feral cat that lives under my house was wandering around.
WTF. When he saw me, he ran right through a wall that had water damage. He had clawed right through. I still wasn’t mad.
I boiled my water for coffee, filled the thermos, locked down the screw top lid.
Then I just wanted to go make my morning coffee. Just needed the drill. I had brought it down with me and put it somewhere safe.
I searched for a half hour couldn’t find it. Now I was getting angry. I wasn’t angry over what the cats did. They do stupid shit, thats what cats do.
This was different, this was my doing, my memory. It pissed me off. I backtracked and eventually found it. I broke my routine, I had taken it up stairs, when I took the snow pics you see below.
Drill and thermos in hand, I went back upstairs to make coffee. I noticed I was overheated. Fever maybe.
It didn’t seem possible it was only 10 inside. I peeled off my bathrobe and now I am sitting here having coffee.
My day was planned. Sunday is video game day. Right after I patched a hole in the wall, after I picked up pissed on laundry, right after i picked up the kitchen mess, but first I was having coffee.
I am on my garage floor, hole in wall repaired. Wheelbarrow reassembled. It was more than my back could bear. I had to lie down where I was.
Next I plan to go out in the heavy rain snow mix to see if I can find firewood. Then transport that inside chop and light a fire. No problem.
Oh needs doing. Big snowstorm tonight and the house cold.
Getting a small load no problem. All wet wood. No good for fire. Wet enough to wringwater out of.
The new wheelbarrow don’t like, it is a kids wheelbarrow not good for a 6 foot man. It will have to do for now. I sure miss the double wheels the old one had.
I gassed up the gen, but I did notice the solar panels are generating power, not xbox power but enough to send much needed power to the battery banks.
I will check the hourly forecast then decide on starting the gen. Pouring rain no, pouring snow maybe if it is cold enough.
