Went out for my morning stroll to sweep off the solar panels. Yes I did notice that more snow was falling. It didn’t matter, this time of the year there is only a few hours that the panels can generate power, and that is If there was sun and the panels were functioning at full capacity.
Too cold for the gen to run. I might be able to run it for a short period. I need to cut more wood. I have four days of extreme cold.
The problem is wood. I have a bit out in the snow and cold, but it is out in the snow and cold. Earlier in the day, hands and face started to freeze in seconds.
Ya the cats were fed, their water bowls are on the woodstove warming up. Don’t ask. My kettle will be boiled in a few mnutes. Soon hot coffee will be pouring.
UPDATE: 4 PM
Sun is going down just went out for a stroll. When I got back I cut some wood by hand.
