Cats were fed and watered. My new gen filled with exactly 500 ml of 10w30. I double checked the fill level. I just wanted to make sure there was no extra oil from the factory.
I pulled the starter rope ten times with no gas to get the oil moving around. I filled it with fresh gas bought yesterday.
I moved out to the shelter, gave the rope three pulls it started and idled properly.
Next was to add a load. Just 9 amps to charge the solar batteries. I had work to do before. Relaxing it was clean poop day here.
The new gen is surging right out of the box.
