In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.

Today is another big day. I get to start my warranty replacement and up grade generator.

All I have to do is haul the eighty pound monster up some stairs, fill it full of oil and gas start it, and build a new gen shack.

And enjoy. Ha were it so easy.

It’s heavy, it will go through twice as much gas per day. I will probably move my gas can filling station up stairs. That means hauling full 5 gallon cans up there.

Each can will only last two or three days, when it used to last 5 or more days.

Hauling the gen up and down stairs to keep it warm will be painful. On the up side it will run all my power tools including , thickness planer, table saw, band saw and chop saw.

Maybe I will get to work in my woodwork shop again.

Anyways cats are fed and watered boards sawn, kindling made, fire started. The kettle is on the woodstove.

I am sitting in front of the fire, typing this. I am having chest pains today. I do feel like a dollar before taxes.

My kettle is near boiled, I forgot my thermos upstairs. I have to make the trip up and down again.

More boards already sawn, the fire filled.i think I will rest after that, but not permanently. Haha.
