Just cause you got the monkey off your back doesn’t mean the circus has left town.

I beat the snow, it’s coming tommorrow. My freight all arrived today.

Pension cheques were not sorted yet when I arrived in the village. I was being patient about that.

As I was loading my freight into the van. One of the nice ladies at the Post Office went through the letters and found my pension cheque. Two minutes later she brought another cheque from the Alberta Government.

I was so thankful. I decided to go into town and pickup a few groceries, some hardware and of course a meat free burger.

I also picked up two big jugs of drinking water. Remind me to go get those later. It will be very cold tonight.

First I had to rest my back, then unpack groceries, then carry gas to the gen, start it and play a bit.

My back pain got worse thinking about the lifting I still had to do.

80 pounds of water, 80 pound generator, 30 pounds of gasoline. Unpack 200 pounds of groceries, assemble a 60 pound table that I already carried upstairs.

I did manage to get almost all my tests ordered. Early April I head into the city for new CT Scans.

So I decided to check my blood, kidneys, liver and pancreas for anamolies. I forgot to get the test ordered for Thyroid.

Solid ice but driveable.

I just finished the groceries, back is worse. My left knee caused me to scream as I got off the floor, not just a little one, but a chainsaw massacre blood curdling shriek. That surprised me, the pain was intense.

I still needed to get water jugs moved, then and only then would I allow myself to get the gen started. It was my own reward system. First I work then I play.

Some time this afternoon I needed to find wood and light a fire. It was 6 indoors. Maybe after supper.
