Due to climate change, wildfires are growing in size, frequency, and intensity, and wildfire seasons are becoming longer.

It looked very dark outside at 10 AM. It was smoke, so thick it was blotting out the sun.

As I walked down to the garage to get more cat food, I started to choke. The wind was blowing in the wrong direction, blowing smoke under the garage doors.

After feeding the cats, I brought the Starlink box inside and opened it. I wouldn’t be doing an outside install today. Not without dying in my yard. Yes, it’s that thick.

I might be able to get the cable outside through the wall. I am back up in the loft typing this. It is already 25 up here early in the morning. There is another heat warning and of course a smoke warning. We might get relief on Tuesday when the rain comes along with lightning storms to start more fires.

I need to eat some breakfast, so have a good day

Not much got accomplished. It was so smoky I didn’t start the gen. I didn’t find any evidence that smoke would hurt the machine. I am sure it might.

I am scrambling for power, right now. Trying to charge what I can. It was much too dark to charge the solar batteries.

I am sure looking forward to the Bluetti arriving. It will help.

Really it is just a power bank, with advanced features and a long life span. It doesn’t have a huge capacity, but can be extended.
