Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did.

Freight was in. Cat food was low, some grocery items were low, no fresh fruit. Coffee was about to run out. I had to make the trip into the village, then to town.  I was out of breath and moving slow. I picked up freight. Then did the drive to town, another half hour. I did the things I normally do.

Picked up some water and groceries, grabbed a plant-based burger and sweet potato fries and a coffee.  I stopped to fill a couple of Jerry cans with gas. Not really filled, $50 doesn’t fill them anymore. I drove home but stopped at the village. I had new kittens and I needed a kitten-sized litter box.

Oh, I did pick up a few bags of wood pellets (cat litter) while I was in town.

Back at home, I snuck past the gigantic wasp nest, it was at least 14″ x 16″ in length. Gracie was put back in her home. I managed to get the garage doors closed with only one wasp interested in me.

Groceries were brought inside. Important freight brought inside. (My new LFP battery charger) Next thing, get the generator functioning. I was sure I had gasoline up there. I didn’t. Back down to the garage. My big gas can was almost empty.

I knew I was too fatigued to lift a heavy can out of the van. I emptied the big can into a smaller, generator-sized can. That would have to do. I filled the gen. It was only 3/4 full. I had to rest before hauling it outside and starting it.

I hauled the groceries up the last flight of stairs. And that’s where they still are an hour later. I was still resting my back and body. I had barely made it through the day.

I did hook up the new charger and I did start my Starfield download. I don’t know why it was so important to do the preload the first day it was allowed, I just knew I had to. The game isn’t playable till early September.

I could see more yellow leaves on the trees as I drove home, fall was here. Farmers had already started harvesting sad-looking crops, too much smoke, too much heat not enough rain.

Now I am writing to stall for more time to rest. I needed to go unpack groceries. I was so tired and hurting, I couldn’t even reach for my coffee.

The great news Starfield download was almost finished. I had super high-speed today, it was downloading at 175 MBPS. 10 GB left to download in 9 minutes 44 seconds. Then I will do groceries. If I could just reach for my coffee.

I did it, I had a sip of coffee. It may not sound like much to you, but today for me, everything I accomplished was extraordinary.  I can’t remember a day I was in this much pain, and out of breath, like I am at this very moment.

Oh no, my download will be done in 30 seconds. I gotta go.

Groceries are unpacked, raspberries, and blackberries eaten, they go bad fast.

My LFP is at 29.1 and finished charging. It’s time to find music and a quote for this post. Then it’s time to feed cats, and bring in the gen. An hour later the no-load voltage dropped to 26.5, the Internet says that is 80 percent charged. I will try again tomorrow.
