Of all God’s creatures, there is only one that cannot be made slave of the leash. That one is the cat.

Mark Twain

I am a slave to my cats. I feed them, fetch water for them, clean up their poop.

Right now I have a small flock of kittens. I know, I know, they are so cute. They run up to me when I enter the room and try to rub off the skin on my ankles, using their cheeks.

The problem is that little kittens grow. More food, more water, more cleaning.

It gives me something to do. Today’s task, clean up the boy’s room. I did a thorough job. A lot of painful sweeping. Tomorrow, another room gets worked on. The girl cats have their own room.

The kittens? A boy cat got past the blockade and hid in the girl’s room for days.

Gasoline was gathered, and the gen filled and started. Room cleaned. Time for a little Xbox time. I wait patiently for the starting day of Starfield. Until then, I will replay an older game.

With my new LFP charger, gaming time got shorter as the charger recharges my battery a lot quicker.

I hate to waste fuel on just gaming. Slowly I am moving to 24-volt batteries, inverters, and MPPT controllers. With all that comes wiring, remounting solar panels and more.

Winter is coming fast and I am getting slower. Monday more tech arrives. Switches and cabling. After that comes wiring.

I am adding a breaker, switches a shunt and a voltage/current monitor. My EB3A is still at the heart of it all. It is a poor choice, but I am working through the problems.

When I am done, I will have both 12v from my current system and 24v from the new system feeding into the Bluetti. Switched of course. I will be able to feed 12v or 24 into the Bluetti.

Now when the Bluetti gets near 100 percent using input power, it reboots my Starlink. For now, I have run over to the box and disconnect the power. With the switch, I can just turn DC input off.

Lots of work to do.
