Pets are humanizing. They remind us we have an obligation and responsibility to preserve and nurture and care for all life.

I spent the day with my dying friend. One back leg has stopped working. I have to carry her to her food and water. I don’t mind, she has been a very loyal friend all her life. I will remember her running wild and free through the garden, but right now she is still kicking.
Those clouds got darker as the day went by, rain is forecast for the next two days.
Bondtober continues “Moonraker” is playing right now. That is appropriate since I spent most of my day redesigning my starship in Starfield. I almost have it right. The shipbuilding modules are poorly designed. One day I hope they will fix the problems. Maybe even fix my headless body or the store owner that just wears shorts. Maybe even fix my contorting wife character. I wished that they followed the same formula as building outposts. Empty rooms that we design and fill. It is still a great game but they could have used another year designing it, but fans like me could not have waited.
