It is only in sorrow bad weather masters us; in joy we face the storm and defy it.

Amelia Barr

The storm wasn’t much. The freezing rain warning today might be.

It has been a busy morning on not much sleep. Cats were fed. I finally saw my indoor feral cat. I even left it some food and water. The two outside cats were also fed. The birds were neglected for now maybe later I would fill their 15 liter feeder.

A new 40 pound water bottle was hauled up from the van. Oh no I left the back hatch open. The van had 6 more bags of catfood in boxes in a romm with a hungry feral cat.

I had to go back down.

Gasoline was collected, fed to the generator. That was hauled outside and started. Next came litter boxes they didn’t need emptying but topping off with 40 pounds of fresh wood pellets.

My Sunday afternoon was spent playing Starfield. My gen filled my battery. After I shut down the gen, I drained it by 40%.

My second battery will arrive tommorrow, but I have one more package that might arrive the day after. I might just wait for that. It is not a bad idea incase the highway is covered in ice.

I will decide that tomorrow. For now more episodes of Cheers.
