Electricity is really just organized lightning.

I need to run the gen again eventhough the solar panels are producing. Those are charging the battery A. Battery B is hooked to a charger run by the gen.

Both batteries are not fully charged but need to be to be hooked together in paralel.

The gen and solar panels are both charging batteries, cats are fed and watered, the outside cats too. I am soaked in sweat and relaxing now. I did have to carry 40 pounds of cat food up from the van and forty pounds of water.

Its all done, except my breakfast. Except battery B is fully charged the charger just shut off. After ten minutes of charging. I guess breakfast will have to wait. I need to switch the charger over to battery A.  When that is done I need to disconnect everything, including solar panels. Then re-do all the wiring. Then hook everything up again, starting at the batteries, then finally the solar panels.

That is an hour or more work in a very uncomfortable cramped space with a very sore kidney. Looking forward to it.

It is done. The two batteries are connected together. Of course some cables are too long others barely reaching, but it got done. I even was able to reconfigure my battery monitor to reflect the extra capacity. Of course I haven’t had breakfast yet. I am gonna try that next. It is 1 PM.

I had the tools in my room so I tightened my monitor so it would hold its position.
After breakfast I planned to use it.

BTW none of what I did was fun, it was painfull hard work, that I couldnt stop until it was completly done. I will need to go back in there in the future to replace the too long and the too short cables with better lengths, but not today.

Today I had over 5 kilowatt hours of storage batteries to keep me in power over the short and often cloudy winter days.

Now I could concentrate on heat. I have new electric shears to cut up the mountain of carboard in my garage. I won’t be able to turn those into logs this winter. Maybe in the spring.

Just had a couple of bad chest pains. I have nitro on order, but not here yet. I am not really stressed, physically or emotionally.

Wouldn’t that be inconvient, having a heart attack after doing that battery work. Who would feed the cats. I am not ready to go yet.
