Anyone can see a forest fire. Skill lies in sniffing the first smoke.
Robert A. Heinlein
Another day of heavy smoke. It is super thick. I dare not venture outdoots, nor ctack a window. It is so thick the sun has disappeared.
I am up feeding cats and getting water for them. I am thankful that the filter buckets still have enough water to filter for another day.
I am not sure I would survive a trip to the pond. I might try. Well the almost senseless slaughter of hundreds more water boatman happened. I put on my worn out covid mask and got a bucket full. Half a bucket full.
I had a hard time pulling up a full one. I will settle for what I got. I had a hard time breathing out there, and later when I stepped out on the deck to snap a few.
I am sure that my cell didn’t capture the severity of the smoke. It never does.
