I couldn’t sleep till 3 woke at 8:30. It was before daylight. I had work that needed doing, some more urgent than others.
Cats were fed, snow was gathered. I also made the walk out to the composter in deep snow. Use your imagination as what was being composted.
The cats were fed snow, the fire was not lit. It was far above freezing in the house. I even filled the giant bowl with snow for later. I needed to ration the small amount of wood left for January if I could. That was doutbtful.
I am upstairs making coffee and pasta for later. My back already sore I had to quit the hard labour for now.
The gen is running again, breaking my two day rule. The batteries did not fully charge yesterday.
I was out of fuel except for some premium I bought to mix with some year old gas. I read to mix it 50/50 to make the old gas useable.
I was worried about using that mix I will need to read more. I couldn’t lose my gen in the middle of winter.
