The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.

H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

The big snow has not arrived yet. The snowfall warning has been issued to all the Weather websites by the government. They all said it was to start at 10 AM. I checked the radar maps it seems that might happen at noon now.

Cats fed and watered, gen filled with a mix of old gas and premium. I pray that won’t kill it. It is all I have left.

My tongue and lungs are worse today. Unfortiantly I forgot to gear the gen for snow. I will make another trip down after I finish making coffee. Since extreme cold is coming with the snow I thought I should charge my batteries today.

By default I will be taking it easy as much as I can. I need to bring in more pallets for drying and I need to cut some up for burning. I am not burning today because the house is still warm. I am not sure I have the strength today anyways.

Even the trip back to the gen is a big effort. Like everything else, NEEDS DOING.

Ya you all ready know. I went back out gor the pallets. I tried to stand up the test. It turned out to be a smart decision. The snow would have burired them. Two were frozen to the ground I would have to dig them out another day.

I didn’t say doing all this was a good decision, I am soaked in sweat in a cold room. I had to peel off a lot of layers. I will have to wait for everything to dry out. I did find a half dozen 1 liter cold brew coffee bottles in my way, so I opened the firebox. To my surprise it was still smoldering from yesterdays fire. If it relights that’s fine.

I hurt worse than ever and I am truly exhausted and out of breath.
Oh yea I did one more thing I setup a litter box forthe feral cats that moved into my garage. There were a lot of little poops on the floor the two wild kittens. I shudder to think where the two adult cats were pooping.

I guess they are the tough ones and they are going anywhere.

Last thing the big snow has started. It is almost noon.
