In the fire room minus 2, outside minus 30.

Best surprise ever 2 gallons of melted water in the big steel bowl. Not knocked over. I let out a big yahoo and ran for the water funnel and 20l water bottle. Everybody got fresh snow water. I will get a hot breakfast and coffee in a while.

Postal strike is over by government mandate. Amazon is processing payments from orders from last month. I do not have a way to pick them up when they arrive.

Like I said yesterday, since the union was forced back to work, I cam’t see the workers working at full speed. I don’t expect to see those parcels soon.

Npw for the tough part. The snow bowl was empty. The snow was outside in -30 air. It was sunny, two my solar panels were covered in snow. I had to go out.

I am back in no I didn’t take a picture. My hands hurt in seconds, lung on the first breath. I wasn’t out more than 5 minutes. It felt like forever.

Cooking water for coffee, leaned way back in my chair, feet up. That is because the room below my floor is cold. I can feel it right through my cha booties. My name for my insulated slippers.

So oats it was I discoveed that rolled oats work out ok if you put boiling water on top. Add a little crystalized honey, chia seeds and cacao nibs and you have breakfast.

A meal fit for a king. Maybe not but it wasn’t bad.

My coffee is almost done, I gotta go. Have a safe day. So say we all.

Settling in for another cold night. It is 6 PM and it is already -28. I lit another fire but it is burning fast.
