Finally, painted the floor to make it easier to clean. That was a great decision. I had cement primer and paint with the warning on the label do not freeze. Well it had been frozen for about ten years. It all worked out.

I put on a flap wheel , and safety gear and started to grind paint off. It took an hour to do the rear of the cab. It is not smooth yet, just getting the paint off. The back produced five pounds of  powdered paint some I imagined have been on that cab since 1955. I am sure there are bad chemicals even lead in that paint. I was glad I was wearing a full face shield respirator. (it didn’t work)

Next day I removed the windshield I was worried about breaking it since it was pristine. I guess the previous owner had taken care of leaks using window putty under the rubber. That will take a while to clean up.

The after that I removed the rear window and started to remove  dash trim and dash parts. I will add more pics and more on this post later.

Update

Later found out my Quality Chinese made full face respirator was either plugged and leaking or just leaking. That toxic paint made with lead and whatever it is got into my lungs. Got really sick for a few weeks. Feeling a little better now. But got a little concerned. Looking forward to getting a sandblaster working instead of the flap wheel. I know the dust will be worse but I will have a ventilation fan running to the outside and will make some mods to the respirator to make it safer.
