Thank you for reading the book. The story came to me while I was in the crawlspace digging in the sand to put in a sewer line in 1992. I wrote a short story back then. The story ended up in box that moved with me from location to location. I still have the story somewhere, someday I will look for it and compare it to the story I have written. I had no idea it was going to come out of my mind the way it did. Some days it all poured out at six thousand words a day, with short breaks to do research to make it historically as accurate as I could. This is in no way to be considered finished.
