My tablet came in yesterday. It is not the latest, I tried cheap Chinese tablets got scammed on both of those but Amazon returned my money. So I bought a better one. Just trying it out. I just hooked up my tiny keyboard to the tablet, yup will need a full size one, next month when I have the cash. I did order a cheap Bluetooth mouse.
So why did I buy this? To save power. On dark winter days, my solar panels just don’t cut it. They are in the wrong location, and the sunlight hours are short. I have a wind generator but it is not up yet. The next week it will be too cold to run the generator. I will be on tablet power only.
I just noticed the e key doesn’t work well and no spell-checking on android. I will have to try to fix that. My goal today will be to see how much battery life I actually get and I will attempt to use nothing but the tablet today. So far chrome sucks no speed dial, keyboard sucks and man do I miss my mouse. It seems Samsung like Facebook are cyberbullies. They don’t allow me to use any other spell check apps. There is nothing like being forced to do things their way. Need linux.
It’s funny Google Chrome runs better in Ubuntu than it does on Google Android.
I am going to leave the mistakes for now until I can find a solution for spellcheck in Android. Not very user-friendly.
I was about to go out and use the snowblower again just to carve a path through the snow to the woodpile. When I looked outside it was snowing again furiously. I decided to wait. I did have a few logs inside, o get me through the night.
I was actually thankful at that decision I am feeling a little dizzy again today. If I carried the genie back upstairs and added some oil, I could fire it and split the logs. The bad part I would have to carry them through my crowded shop an armful at a time.
That idea didn’t resonate with me especially with dizziness and balance problems, so I decided to fire up the snowblower one more time and just cut a path to the woodpile. Ya you already know how that turned out. I had the blower out there, it was running, so I decided to do the whole thing again.
Taking a rest after that. Yup, and I am on the laptop to fix the two hundred spelling mistakes made on my tablet. Yup, it makes a good thing to watch movies on not so good for doing WordPress. Kind of useless actually even the WordPress app, man that needs some work. I had to re-upload all the pics I already had here.
Before I took the rest I am taking now I went out and filled the wheelbarrow with the last four logs, and two of them were big ones. I have some pics but I ran through the battery on the cell phone it is charging now I will add those later.
I still have to go back out to the shop and split those big logs and bring them into the fire room, that is after some cold coffee. I am starting to think about having a meeting to maybe discuss my age and broken body, Nah changed my mind, I am just doing what needs doing as always.

Logs are split the wood is inside. I am beat and beat up, my right ankle has completely failed, left shoulder joint made me yell a little when I took off my winter clothes, but I am alive and warm.
I will work on the tablet tomorrow to see if I can make it better, the good news is the battery seems to do its thing and lasts a long time.
Tomorrow night the weather is about to change drastically from -7c in the day to -26 at night need to cut more wood. And it will 3 weeks or more. Yikes
