Never give up. Today is hard, tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine.
Jack Ma
Today is the day so many gave up their lives on the beaches at Normandy.
I think this the actual plane that led the invasion in Normandy. Restored C47 with D Day stripes flying over Normandy. One of the most beaufitul aircraft ever to fly. They say this aircraft won that war.
FOR ME IT IS DVT Day. I am dealing with what I think might be a DVT in my right calf. It started two days ago, but is worse today. Most likely caused by too many hours at my desk, flying a ship conicidentaly named the Normandy. The pain is mostly unbearable. Walking is difficult as I found out taking my morning pics. It is a bloodclot in my leg, the danger is it may break free and travel to my lung, heart or brain. In my lungs it might make breathing extremely difficult, or cause a heart attack, in my brain a stroke.
Last time I went to a hospital for this the idiot doctor at Peace River hospital thought I was drunk and refused to give me a two dollar blood test that might have confirmed this. He implied I was drunk because i was slurring my words. Signs also of a small stroke.
So I will fire up my gen later hookup my treadmill and try to walk. I will try to walk a quarter mile. That will either kill me or cure me. I pray not for me but for my cats.
I gotta go a bad headache has come my way it might mean the clot is breaking up. I better go feed the cats.
Getting up and down the stairs was interesting as was feeding the cats. All i can manage right now is a collaose on my bed, head and chest pounding, the pain in my leg got worse again. To prove how bad this is. I am using my tablet to write this post. I really dont enjoy that.
Today is 17 hours 30 minutes between sunrise and sunset.
On my walkabout I grabbed the old hoe from my garden shed and went out and murdered thistles. Today it was hard but satisfying. ALL THISTLES MUST DIE
