If you think you can do it, you can.

I decided to beef up the shelves to handle the extra weight. I was lucky and found the same shelves on sale this week in a flyer. The flyer said the shelves would handle 350 lbs per shelf. Maybe new but mine were far from that. I added two 2×10 boards under the first battery shelf.

I moved one battery inside 3 to go. I would tell you that hauling the 64 pound battery through my garage over the obstacles and to the shelves was fun but I would be lying. I can’t wait to move the hundred pounder.

Next problem even after I raised the shelf above. It still would be too tight to give them a drink of water without pulling the heavy batteries out one at a time.

Well that was painful. I removed a shelf relocated it to the top. Carried three more batteries to the shelves. Now I am too tired to continue working and the back pain is bad. I need to go back I am running my Internet modem on a power bank and it will run out. I need to finish wiring that up move two more batteries put those on the top shelf. Then comes the fun stuff. I need to wire the battery bank. Two batteries to make 12v volts then again then hook the four up so that I am still at 12 volts.

That is after I make the new connecting cables. I have the tools and may have enough wire left over for that. I will make the wires neater later.

The Internet is under solar again. New batteries just hooked up for a test fit. I will make new cables tomorrow. I am done for today.
