I just had a scary experience I was sitting on the stairs petting a cat. My whole world did a violent spin and I fell over. I have experienced BPPV, which is the displacement of crystals in my middle ear, even taught the doctors at my local clinic how to do the maneuver I found on the internet to fix that. This was different, extremely violent that only lasted a few seconds. More likely it had to do with the bad headache that kept me awake until 5 AM. Remembering back a bit I have had another similar episode three years ago where I suddenly just fell over.
I just checked my temp to see if it may be a covid Infection. 36.3 , no coughing, no sneezing, no other symptoms.
